📖 CTET Exam Structure 📖
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted in two papers depending on the teaching level:
- Paper I (Primary Stage) – For candidates aspiring to teach Classes 1 to 5.
- Paper II (Upper Primary Stage) – For candidates aspiring to teach Classes 6 to 8.
Eligibility
- Paper I: Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and have passed/appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Paper II: Candidates must be graduates and have passed/appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or hold a B.Ed. degree.
Exam Duration
Both Paper I and Paper II are of 2.5 hours (150 minutes).

Each paper contains 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 1 mark each, making the total marks 150. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
